i can help with the rudimentary comentary he can give you the rifle details that make them special , as all enfeilds are special you know ,
the mkI has a nice little button bolt release near the back of the race , the mkI* lost the button for a nifty and cheap cutout in the race[only made in north america] , the mk1/2 is a conversion of the mkI to mk2 hanging the triger to the receiver , the mk1/3 is similar conversion of the mkI* , and the mk2 is the original upgrade from the forearm mounted trigger of the traditional enfeilds to the receiver mounted version of the late rifles , lets see what neil has for unit/use markings and such , thats what makes them truely special , oh and no they dont all look alike to some of us - i will alow that markings mean a lot and one must inspect them closely , so ---on that note ---my shipping address is .........

The LB No 4 Mk1* has a different bolt holding location, up front not back by the rear sight.
Not sure of the exact name, the groove you turn the bolt head into and out off. Cork |
