I don't know if you recall, but you sold me a GI slide, many years ago! I am really appreciative since that slide is mounted on the gun I carry EVERY day! It goes under the pillow, is never more than 15 feet from me when home, and it is the gun I carry 95% of the time. That full 5" slide is mounted on a Officers type frame, with a shortened grip. I do lose one round but I shoot well and probably won't need 6 rds.Allows easier concealment since the grip is what protrudes. I had the slide parkerized. That long slide helps accuracy and anchors better in pants as compared to the short slides.

PS..in that first photo just to the right of the writing is pitting. That is caused by blood. I tend to think it got that way from combat in either WW1 or WW2 I hope the GI made it. I hope he knows I am wearing part of his gun.
